Microsoft Office 2007 New Features QRG and Activity Manual

Designed specifically to accommodate transitioning from Microsoft Office 2003, these products contain the most common, and the most relevant corporate end-user new features from Microsoft Office 2007. There are two transition products available:

  • Microsoft Office 2007 – New Features Quick Reference Guide – identifies and describes new features, allowing users to learning about them conceptually. They may be used by a knowledgeable instructor (familiar with previous version software) to deliver a 2- to 4- hour overview style seminar; and they can be used as a reference guide for end users. This guide is available in French.

  • Microsoft Office 2007 – New Features Activity Manual is an optional manual that contain hands-on exercises, cross-referenced to the new features covered in the quick reference guide. It may be used to help facilitate a demonstration-style seminar, by providing instructors with set activities, reducing costly prep-time. In addition, it may be coupled with the associated quick reference guide to provide a 1- to 2- day hands-on session. This manual is available in French.

Other Migration Products

DCF has other products to aide in the transition to Microsoft Office 2007. These products contain the most common, and the most relevant corporate end-user new features from Office 2003, while some also support transitioning from Microsoft Office 2000 and Office XP. These additional transition products are:

  • Microsoft Office 2007 Fluent User Interface – Quick Reference Guide identifies and describes new user interface features, such as the Ribbon, Quick Access Toolbar, Galleries, and Live Preview, to name a few; allowing users to learn about them conceptually. It may be used by a knowledgeable instructor (familiar with previous version software) to deliver a 30- to 60– minute overview style seminar; and it can be used as a reference guide for end users.

  • Microsoft Office 2007 – Migration Courseware – has been designed to target users transitioning from Office 2000, XP, and/or 2003, making them true “migration” training products. These courseware products focus primarily on the new features of Office 2003, but do include a “Migration Topics” section at beginning of each chapter that allows trainers and/or users to obtain an understanding of new and improved features introduced in either Office 2000 or Office XP. Cost of the quick reference guide, or courseware and shipping on resulting orders are extra. Limits to the number of topics, chapters and/or pages are applicable.


Guide Customization Fees

  • Insert your company’s logo on the inside cover page. Printed b/w.
  • Insert your company’s name in the courseware footer to associate the courseware with your company.

  • Select and rearrange entire chapters of standard material to create a custom course.

DCF offers both printed products for purchase and electronic files by licenses for deployment on your intranet, and/or as an internal customization solution. Both options are customizable and various volume pricing and bundling solutions are available:

Printed quick reference guides and courseware

  • Intended for any size organization, most courseware titles are 1 day sessions, while some are half-day, or two-days sessions.
  • Quick Reference Guides and Courseware may be purchased in small quantities as required, or larger volumes will provide customers with discounts.
  • Retail costs may be obtained from our online catalogue. All pricing reflects both CAD and USD based on your location.
  • Government discounts are available.

 

Licensed quick reference guides and courseware

  • Intended for use as part of an Enterprise license agreement, electronic files can be provided in:
    • Courseware: PDF format for printing at your specific location.
    • Courseware: Microsoft Word format for internal customization.
    • Quick Reference Guides: PDF format (with navigational links), which may be posted to a company’s intranet to allow users to quickly locate (and print if required) the desired instructions, and train themselves.
    • These license options may be used as part of a corporate green technology solution, as they reduce or eliminate the use of paper and transportation.
